The social and political ideas of romantics are viewed in the article. Analyzing the manifestation of romanticism in moral and political ideology, the author notes the utmost antipathy of their creation, the disposition of romantics both to conservatism and liberalism, the endeavor of combination in their philosophic and artistically poetic creation. The author notes that, the romantic and conservative Weltanschauung wasn’t the reactionary Weltanschauung standing on the way of industrial revolution and economical modernization. A definite place was only featured for the private enterprise initiative, therewith it doesn’t break the public tradition and undermine the cultural identity of the nation.
The necessity of approach to romanticism research as socio-cultural trend from the pluralism position is substantiated.
