Is Organizational Learning about Conflict Management important or not in Organizational Effectiveness in Tertiary Education?

Learning is an unremitting human and organizational process. It happens as if by magic- one day we are ignorant, then time passes and suddenly we possess a wealth of new knowledge. It is possible only by enhancing our capabilities to learn. Consequently, improving our ability to learn continuously appears to be the central point of dealing with the changes in our surroundings. Countless studies have shown that organizational learning is a key to success. This study aims to investigate the answer of the question that “Is organizational learning about conflict management important or not in organizational effectiveness in tertiary education reminiscent of other workplace?”. To answer this question, this study has collected data from 371 respondents from Pakistan public universities. Both quantitative and qualitative methodologies were used to analyze the data. Interviews were conducted as part of qualitative research methodology and later, regression was used to analyze the data by quantitative method. Results show that organizational learning about conflict management has a significant relationship with organizational effectiveness in tertiary education. Hence, organizational learning is important for enhancing the organizational effectiveness in terms of quality education and organizational performance in tertiary education in Pakistan public universities as well as in other industrial and manufacturing organizations.
